wsoc-tv 9 food drive!
Queen City Unity partnered up with Charlotte's WSOC-TV 9 Food Drive, and it was an honor to be a part of it. All of the donations went to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and will feed thousands across our city. Typically a food drive involves you going to a specific location and dropping off your donations. However, we thought that it would be beneficial to make it easier for some to donate.

So how did we do it? We developed the QCU Donation Pick Up Program. It allowed those who wanted to donate to schedule a donation pick up at their home or business. As WSOC-TV spread the word about our program, we were blown away by the response that we received. There were many in Charlotte that did not have means of transportation or time, still wanted to donate, and we were there to make it easier for them. Our Queen City Unity Ambassadors worked around the clock to pick up these valuable donations and collected more than we anticipated. We are very proud of their efforts!

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of this amazing cause and our organization is looking forward to continuing to work closely with organizations in Charlotte. One of our core initiatives is to make it easily accessible for everyone to contribute to any cause. A big thanks to all those that donated, our team of Queen City Unity Ambassadors, WSOC-TV Channel 9, and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
Queen City Unity intends to continue to work with any organization in Charlotte that is focused on the betterment of our great city. Stay tuned for events and charitable projects on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

We look forward to uniting our city, one charitable act at a time.
